A third person died as a consequence of the severe burns sustained during the explosion last Thursday of a tanker transporting butane gas, which had a rollover and set on fire a community in the municipality of Tlalnepantla, State of Mexico.
According to the Department of Health of the State of Mexico, 21-year-old Andrés Ramírez Fuentes was on his way to work in Mexico City when the incident happened.
Yesterday, a 19-year-old girl died as a result of the explosion, which also claimed the life of the driver of the vehicle when he lost control and overturned in the so-called "Curva del Diablo" (Devil's Curve).
A 67-year-old man remains in critical condition in a hospital in the nearby area of Lomas Verdes.
