Mexican singer Larry Hernández said today that the legal process he is facing "has been a nightmare" for many "difficult days of much learning".

Hernández made on Twitter his first statements on the case he faces in South Carolina due to the alleged abduction and assault on a musical entrepreneur and pointed out that he is not giving interviews on the advice of his lawyers.

He added that he would not even do it for money because that would make him "relive everything that has been a nightmare" and thanked his fans for "all the prayers".

"Thank God I can again enjoy being with my family, who I deeply love," he added.

On October 23 the interpreter of "Corridos" was released on bail by a judge in Newberry, South Carolina, after spending 30 days in several prisons in the U.S.

The 38-year-old singer has been instructed by a judge to not talk to the people involved in the criminal suit and be available for doping tests. Any failure to abide would mean to have his bail revoked and be returned to prison.

A new hearing in his case has been programmed for December 31 in Newberry.
