A federal judge issued a warrant for people close to Joaquín "El Chapo" Guzmán for helping him escape from the maximum-security prison of El Altiplano on July 11, among them his brother-in-law and his lawyer.

The Office of the Attorney General (PGR) obtained the formal arrest warrant in Toluca, State of Mexico, against seven people, among them Calixto Estrada, owner of the house where the tunnel used by Guzmán to escape prison ended after some two miles.

Among the other people facing an arrest warrant is the pilot who helped in the evasion of Guzmán Loera.
