Hurricane Patricia affected up to 10,000 people

José Antonio Meade Kuribreña, minister of Social Development, said that hurricane Patricia affected up to 10,000 people and damaged between 3,000 and 3,500 houses.

He explained that the ministry has a budget of 250 million pesos (US$15.1 million) to take care of the emergency and added that the affected population will be helped with temporary employment and housing reconstruction programs.
