Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto visited this community in which he announced a census to fully evaluate the effects of hurricane Patricia, and added that the most important thing was to preserve the lives of people.

"The most important thing for us was to preserve the lives of the families that were in the three states where the hurricane hit. We are doing a sweep, an evaluation ‎and we want to conduct a census of the people who were affected eventually," expressed the President after leaving the area.

Peña Nieto will visit the community of Paraíso, which was one of the most severely affected by the storm in Colima.
