Peruvian talk show hostess Laura Bozzo said that she has a 10-year contract with Televisa and that she has not been informed about any investigation against her.
Today EL UNIVERSAL published that Mexico's Interior Ministry is investigating Bozzo for allegedly violating the privacy rights of children in her TV show Laura.
Bozzo added that she has a new project called "The story behind the crimes", in which she will discuss cases such as the one of the 43 missing students of Ayotzinapa.
The proposal to investigate the content of her TV show was submitted by Senator Angélica de la Peña Gómez, a member of the Democratic Revolution Party (PRD), who claims that the children who participate in her show are denigrated, exposed and re-victimized. The information about the case will be kept confidential for one year while the investigation continues.
The program is broadcast by Televisa's channel 2.
