Mexican officials say they have captured six people who helped elusive drug cartel boss Joaquín "El Chapo" Guzmán break out of prison in July.
The suspects include a man considered the mastermind of the escape, the capo's brother-in-law and an airplane pilot.
Attorney General Arely Gómez says the group planned, organized and carried out the jailbreak by Guzmán, who once again has become Mexico's most-wanted fugitive.
Gómez confirmed Wednesday that after the escape Guzmán traveled by land to the city of Querétaro where he caught a small plane to Sinaloa, his home state and stronghold.
She said two planes left from Querétaro but did not give further details or name any of the arrested suspects.
Authorities recently announced the arrest of another pilot in connection with the escape.
