Mexicans eat 188 kilos (414 pounds) of corn and 13 kilos (28 pounds) of beans in average in a year, the 2014 National Agricultural Survey revealed.

It added that 1.4 million tons of beans and 21 million tons of white corn were cultivated last year in the country.

Also Mexicans ate 28.4 million bovines, 14 million pigs and 231 million chicken in 2014.
