In the last 24 hours the monitoring system of Popocatépetl volcano registered 14 low-intensity exhalations and 10 explosions.
Incandescent fragments over the crater were observed in some of these events at night.
Additionally, episodes of low-amplitude tremor of 5 minutes were also registered.
This morning the volcano spewed an emission of steam and gas to the southwest side.
