News anchor Carlos Loret de Mola presented a video of the escape of Joaquín "El Chapo" Guzmán Loera from the Altiplano prison in which drilling and hammering are heard in the drug lord's cell, but the guards failed to act.

On July 14 Monte Alejandro Rubido, former National Security Commissioner, presented a video of the moment the leader of the Sinaloa Cartel escaped from his cell. However, that video did not have audio.

The recording presented by Loret de Mola shows that they took 25 minutes to go to the cell of "El Chapo" and, upon arrival, one of them told his commander that there was a big hole in the shower and that the prisoner was not there.

At the end of the video, voices can be heard asking for the drug lord. “Don Joaquín?”.
