Tropical Storm Marty has moved a little to the east after slightly weakening off Mexico's Pacific coast.
The storm's maximum sustained winds Tuesday decreased to near 60 mph (95 kph) with additional weakening expected over the next few days.
Marty is centered about 115 miles (185 kilometers) south-southeast of Zihuatanejo, Mexico, and is moving east at 3 mph (6 kph). A tropical storm warning is in effect for part of Mexico's coast from Acapulco to Lázaro Cárdenas.
Meanwhile in the Atlantic, Tropical Storm Joaquin is gradually strengthening while drifting to the west.
Joaquin's maximum sustained winds are 45 mph (75 kph). The storm is centered about 425 miles (680 kilometers) east-northeast of the central Bahamas and is moving west at 5 mph (7 kph).
