EPN meets with the Prime Minister of India

They spoke about the interest of Mexican businessmen in the Asian nation.

Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto met with the Prime Minister of the Republic of India, Narendra Modi, to talk about actions to strengthen the bilateral relationship in the economic and commercial fields.

In the meeting, both leaders stressed the importance of increasing the political dialog through high-level visits and coordination in the area of development cooperation.

The Prime Minister invited the Mexican President to visit his country and expressed interest in promoting the investment in various economic areas in Mexico.

In turn, Peña Nieto invited the Prime Minister to visit Mexico soon and informed him about the willingness of Mexican businessmen to invest in the Republic of India.

Mexico has a privileged partnership with the Republic of India since 2007 and Peña Nieto and Modi exchanged their views on the structural reforms undertaken in both countries to promote economic growth.
