Shakira sings “Imagine” at UN headquarters

Colombian singer Shakira performed a cover of John Lennon's “Imagine” at the opening ceremony of the 70th Session of the UN General Assembly at the UN headquarters in New York City.

Shakira, wearing a white dress, performed in front of Pope Francis and a large number of world leaders.

The 38-year old star, who is a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, dedicated her performance to Aylan and Galip Kurdi and all the children turned refugees due to the Syrian war.
