The video features Latino celebrities including Carlos Santana, Eva Longoria, and Pitbull. In an interview on Wednesday, Vergara said it's important to raise awareness regarding the accomplishments Latinos in America.

"I think it's great. I think it's beautiful to unite with people and to fight for a cause and represent a cause," the Colombian star said of the song. "It's a fun thing to do to come together and help other people."

The "Modern Family" actress noted how things have improved for Latino actors since she first got in the business.

"Twenty years ago I started in Univision, and things have changed a lot. It's easier now to make a crossover. There are so many more opportunities; there are so many more scripts that have been written for Latin people. There's definitely doors opening every day," she said. "We hope that there's more material written for Latin people, but I think we shouldn't complain. Things are getting better."
