The police forces of Tamaulipas, with the support of the surveillance system in the city, rescued a woman who had been deprived from her freedom by three suspects.

The multi-agency Coordination Group Tamaulipas (GCT) reported that the alleged kidnappers are Carlos Alfredo Zapato Mandujano and Carlos Benito Pérez Segura, as well as a minor. They were in possession of two firearms, 109 cartridges and a black Chevrolet Malibu, which they left on fire with their victim inside.

The rescue operation was held on Friday, after the police received a report about the kidnapping of a woman in the Moderna neighborhood in the hands of three men who took her away in a car.

The state police force of Tamaulipas was alerted that the criminals were leaving Ciudad Victoria to the south, so they watched the roads in that area.

They located the vehicle in the Alta Vista area, and the criminals tried to escaped, giving chase until they took the vehicle out of the road and left it, while burning.

When they arrived at the area, the police inspected the vehicle and found the 50-year-old woman inside, taking her to receive treatment while other policemen chased the criminals.

Later, and with the support of officers from the Ministry of National Defense, they located the criminals in the mountain area nearby and arrested them.

The victim, who is dedicated to commerce, declared that the men violently came into her house and took her to the vehicle by force.
