The Rolling Stones are in negotiations with authorities to perform in Havana in March 2016, according to the guitarist Keith Richards.

According to the Spanish newspaper “El Mundo”, the concert is expected to take place in the Latinoamericano Stadium, a baseball stadium which seats 55,000 people.

Richards also said that the decision was influenced by the current bassist of the Stones, Darryl Jones, who played in Havana with The Dead Daisies last February.

The official announcement will take place in Cuba when the Rolling Stones publish the dates and cities of their tour in South America.
