Former seminarian promotes Mexican porn industry

The film, directed by Fernando Deira, a former seminarian, will be distributed by Sexmex, a company that has promoted Mexico's porn industry with around 150 productions a year, apart from organizing a Sex and Eroticism exhibition in Mexico City and Guadalajara and getting over one million monthly visits to its website, that hosts more than 600 porn videos.

Deira, a graduate of the film school of Guadalajara University, plans to make a porn film that can be seen in movie theaters “so that porn is seen for what it is: an art form".

"In Nymphomaniac we saw a penetration and that did not offend anyone, perhaps because the film was directed Lars Von Trier, who is so famous. I even think that actors accept these roles to become famous, but if it was directed by a porn filmmaker maybe they would see it as negative for their career," Deira said.

"There are many taboos about porn; when you say you are a porn filmmaker sometimes people relate you to crime. I founded the National Association of Adult Entertainment  Artists and we propose that adult movies are reviewed and regulated. An industry that produces a lot of money can not be ignored or banned," he added.

A thin girl with large natural breasts can make between 15,000 and 20,000 pesos (US$891 and US$1,188) per session, while men are paid between 1,000 and 1,500 pesos (US$59 and US$89) per movie.

"I have participated in ten movies. I started a year ago, when my husband and I met Ricky, a porn actor, at a swinger party. At first I wore a mask, but I no longer care what people say," she explained.
