54 Central American migrants rescued in Veracruz

Four people were arrested for human trafficking.

54 undocumented Central Americans were rescued by members of the State Police in Veracruz.

The 54 migrants were traveling in three different vehicles heading towards the north of the state.

The police proceeded to review the units, resulting in the rescue of the migrants and the arrest of four people for human trafficking.

The incident took place on Coatzacoalcos-Villahermosa Federal Highway, in the municipality of Agua Dulce.

The 54 people rescued, as well as vehicles and detainees, were made available to the corresponding authorities.
