Argentinean coach Marcelo Bielsa resigned from his position as head of French team Olympique Marseille, after his defeat by a score of 0-1 before Caen, on date one of the season.

His permanence as coach for Olympique was already doubtful for season 2015-16 and after his defeat he called for a press conference, where he read his resignation letter.

Bielsa expressed that he wanted to return to his country and did not want to say anything else about his future plans.

One of the most interested parties in giving him a new job would be the Mexican Soccer Federation, looking for a successor for the former coach of 'El Tri,' Miguel Herrera.
