Mexican journalist Jorge Ramos was expelled from a press conference in Iowa by controversial Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.

“Excuse me, sit down, you weren't called. Sit down!” Trump shouted at Ramos as he protested, “I have the right to ask a question.”

“No you don't, go back to Univision,” Trump replied, attempting to call on another reporter in the room. At that point, security physically removed Ramos from the room.

Ramos began had try to ask him about the concrete steps that he would take to implement his immigration proposals, such as the wall on the border and the deportation of more than 11 million undocumented immigrants.

Moments after, Ramos returned and continued questioning Trump on his immigrant policies.

When the journalist came back into the room, Trump took a question from him, adding, "It's good to have you back."

As the candidate answered Ramos' question on immigration policy and recent controversy around the term "anchor babies," Trump shot back, “I have a bigger heart than you do.”

After taking questions from other reporters, Trump returned to Ramos, and he reiterated that he has the support of the Latino community.

"Do you know how many Latinos work for me? Do you know how many Hispanics are working for me? They love me," Trump declared. "Do you know many Latinos work for me? Thousands. Do you know how many have worked for me over the years? Tens of thousands."
