Tow truck rolls over and hurts ten in the State of Mexico

The truck impacted a house and damaged the water network.

The driver of a tow truck lost its brakes on the Hill of San Lorenzo, in the municipality of Chimalhuacán, and rolled over nine people, four of them children.

The truck also impacted a car, a motorcycle, a house and damaged the hydraulic network coming out of a water tank.

According to witnesses, the truck rolled from the top of the hill and besides all the damage it injured 25-year-old Araceli Martinez Osorio and her 23-year-old sister Gabriela Martinez Osorio, as well as Javier Marquez Sierra, 29; Reyna Marquez Ordóñez, 43; Isaac de la Cruz Bautista, 15; Marian Lugui Cruz, 13, Abraham López Marquez, eight and Axl Daniel Castillo Martínez, of six years. Another victim has not been identified.

The driver tried to jump from the vehicle, but was injured and received aid from the locals, who also tended to the other wounded.

The ten victims were taken by the Red Cross to hospitals in Chimalhuacán and neighboring Nezahualcóyotl.
