Mexican actress Salma Hayek, 48, admitted during a interview with People that there was a time when she feared she might never become a mom.

"I had my child so late in life," said Hayek of giving birth shortly after her 41st birthday. "I thought I wasn't going to be able to and it was such an important thing to me."

Since the birth of her daughter, the little girl became a priority for the actress, so she decided to stop working.

"My focus went completely on her," she said.
