Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton will visit Mexico from August 11 to 13, to strengthen political relations and explore new means of cooperation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced.

The Ministry also said that the visit of Governor Dayton to Mexico will help to promote trade and investment, deepen the educational ties, and strengthen cooperation in human capital development and agriculture.

During his stay in Mexico, Gov. Dayton will meet with Foreign Minister José Antonio Meade, other federal government officials and businessmen.

Gov. Dayton will also travel to Guadalajara, Jalisco, to promote economic ties in that region.
