The Pan American champion Rommel Pacheco took the sixth place in men's 3m springboard category at the Aquatics World Championships in Kazan, Russia.
With this result Pacheco won his place at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Pacheco accumulated 508.15 points which placed him in sixth and thus within the classification criteria stipulated by Mexican Swimming Federation (FMN).
