TV Azteca commentator Christian Martinoli says that Miguel Herrera, manager of Mexico's national soccer team, punched him in the neck at Philadelphia International Airport near the security line.

Martinoli added that "El Piojo", as Herrera is better known, warned him that the same would happen every time they meet.

David Medrano, sports commentator of TV Azteca, said on a radio interview with Radio Fórmula that Herrera's daughter, Mishelle, slapped Luis García when he intervened to try to calm everyone down.

On Twitter Fernando Schwartz, who works for Fox Sports, said that Herrera attacked Martinoli because he offended his daughter and not because he has been critical of his performance.

So far Mexico's Soccer Federation has not talked about the incident.
