“It's comical," expressed actress Kate del Castillo about the recent escape of Joaquín "El Chapo" Guzmán, and she lets out a big laugh, like if she was proving her point.
Del Castillo wrote an open letter for 'El Chapo' after his first evasion from jail in January 2012. "Today I believe more in 'El Chapo' than in the governments which are hiding truths."
"When I did it I wasn't lauded, but I don't care what people think. I was pretty sure about what I wrote and, if people don't get it, I don't care. That's the way I think," she said while walking on the red carpet during the Platino awards ceremony.
But, Guzmán's escape doesn't worry her?
"Mexico has been a superviolent city for a long time. I don't live there, but it is extremely dangerous. So, this 'El Chapo' thing is just comical," she says, pointing it out with a laughter.
