Hurricane Dolores weakens to a Category 2 storm

The National Water Commission (Conagua) informed that hurricane "Dolores" weakened to a Category 2 storm as of Thursday afternoon.

The agency explained that the cyclone is located 415 kilometers (90 miles) southwest of Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur, and 235 kilometers (146 miles) northwest of Socorro Island, Colima.

"Dolores" is moving west-northwest at 13 km/h (8 mph), has maximum sustained winds of 165 km/h (102 mph) and gusts of 205 km/h (127 mph).
