Thousands of fans gathered outside the Cuernavaca Cathedral in the morning to bid farewell to Mexican singer Joan Sebastian.
At 11:55 am the coffin was taken to the interior of the Cathedral, where the funeral mass began.
Joan Sebastian´s sons Julián and José Manuel, as well as other relatives accompanied the funeral procession.
Joan Sebastian died on July 13, he had fought cancer for some time.
