Hurricane Dolores weakens to Category 3 storm

National Weather System (SMN) informed that heavy rains, electrical activity, hail and strong winds are expected in Baja California Sur, Sinaloa, Nayarit, Jalisco and Colima.

Hurricane Dolores has weakened slightly since this morning and is now a Category 3 storm, the National Weather System (SMN) informed.

The hurricane is located at 18.7N, 110.6W or 260nm S of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Dolores has maximum sustained winds of 110kts with a minimum central pressure of 952mb.

The system is currently moving to the west-northwest at 5 knots.
