Hurricane Dolores has weakened slightly since this morning and is now a Category 3 storm, the National Weather System (SMN) informed.
The hurricane is located at 18.7N, 110.6W or 260nm S of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Dolores has maximum sustained winds of 110kts with a minimum central pressure of 952mb.
The system is currently moving to the west-northwest at 5 knots.
The SMN said that heavy rains, electrical activity, hail and strong winds are expected in Baja California Sur, Sinaloa, Nayarit, Jalisco and Colima.
