The children of the Triqui ethnic group from the state of Oaxaca debuted in the same tournament in 2013; they played barefoot, conquering the heart of many and also the first place.

Tiqui children will participate in the YBOA International Tournament again.

Each year the tournament, organized by the Youth Basketball of America (YBOA), brings together the most important American League teams, totaling 150 teams playing on 16 courts simultaneously.

For this edition, the Triqui children will return with more experience and with the same conviction of being champions.
