According to the preliminary reports from the just finished elections in Mexico, in the race to renew the federal Congress, the ruling Revolutionary Institutional Party heads the results, with 30.06% of the accounted votes.

In second place, the right-wing National Action Party has 20.45%, according to the Preliminary Electoral Results Program (PREP)

In third place, the National Renovation Movement (Morena) got 10.16% of the votes, with the Green Party reaching the fourth place with 7.99%

The New Alliance Party received 4.68% of the votes, Citizen Movement got 4.03% and the Labor Party has 3.43% so far.

New political forces like the Social Encounter Party and the Humanist Party ended with 4.18% and 2.32% respectively, while the independent candidates registered 1.06% and non-registered aspirants received 0.36%.

Also, a total of 5.85% of the accounted votes so far have been invalidated.
