Toronto Blue Jays right-hander Marco Estrada lost his bid for a perfect game with one out in the eighth inning when Tampa Bay's Logan Forsythe had an infield single.
Forsythe hit a slow hopper that third baseman Josh Donaldson fielded bare-handed and then almost threw out Forsythe at first. The safe call by umpire Joe West was confirmed after a 40-second review after Toronto challenged the call.
Donaldson went four rows into the stands to make a diving catch of David De Jesus' foul ball on a 3-2 pitch to start the eighth.
Estrada was coming off a start Friday against Baltimore in which he took a no-hitter into the eighth inning.
