Javier Aquino is sold to Tigres

Fernando Roing, president of the Spanish soccer club Villarreal, confirmed that Javier Aquino was sold to the Tigres of the Autonomous University of Nuevo León (UANL).

The Mexican soccer player was on loan with the Rayo Vallecano.

Cruz Azul had expressed interest in repatriating him, but they could not reach an agreement.

Recently Tigres hired Jairo González, Jürgen Damm, Gignac and Ike Uche.
