The Attorney General's Office (PGR) dismantled a sexual exploitation network operating in the city of San Luis Potosi and rescued 24 victims.
Through the Department of Human Rights, Crime Prevention and Community Services, the PGR opened an investigation into the disappearance of a young girl who had been engaged by a trafficker.
On April 1, 2015, members of the institution with support from the Federal Ministerial Police, located and rescued the minor in San Luis Potosí.
Following the investigation, authorities raided the Ritz Hotel, located in the downtown of San Luis Potosi, where they rescued another 23 victims, including two minors.
According to reports, the PGR also arrested five people, one of them from Honduras.
