Tigres beats Emelec, takes on Libertadores' semis

The UANL team was defeated in the first game in Ecuador but took revenge in its home field.

After its defeat by a score of 1-0 before Ecuador's Emelec as visitors, the Tigres UANL took them to their home stadium to beat them for a global of 2-1 and reach the semi-finals of the Copa Libertadores.

The scores were made by Rafael Sobis, just five minutes after the start of the game, and Arturo Rivas "Palmera", on the 79. Tigres' goalie Nahuel Guzmán was key to keep the visitor with no goals.

With this result, Tigers ensures the pass to the semis and reaches 21 goals to become the highest scoring team in the current South-American tournament. Cruz Azul, Chivas and America are the only other Mexican teams to have reached this stage.
